Sara Bevan was born in 1967 and completed a Foundation course at Bourneville School of Art in 1986. She then went on to study at Liverpool Polytechnic gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Fashion and Textiles, specialising in Printed Textiles.

She now lives and works near Lands End and is a full time painter and print maker.

Her work has been exhibited and sold in The Roundhouse Gallery in Sennen Cove since 2004, Bank square Gallery, St just, and Blue Bramble Gallery, St Ives.

Paintings range from large canvases to small works on board in a variety of techniques and mediums including oils, acrylics and mixed media. Her paintings are an emotional response to the land and sea around her. Always dramatic, always with passion.
